Jerusalem Report – 05/11/2018 – Destruction From Without and Within

The danger to us will not only come from outside, from our enemies. There is a looming danger to us from within the House of Jacob. Our problems are not just from outside enemies. Internal problems affect us, too, and they are connected to what is happening in the Middle East. Find out how!

READ WHILE YOU LISTEN!

Seventy years ago this week, in 1948, Israel became a nation. Now, here we are, seventy years later, just like Daniel said, with Israel at war with Iran. Is this a coincidence? Nothing is a coincidence with YHVH’s people.

The condition of war escalates every day now. It is not escalating monthly or weekly. It is increasing daily. This and another battle has arisen. They’re all connected. Find out how and why later on in this broadcast.

Before I talk about these wars, let’s find out about President Trump’s provocation of Iran by canceling the Nuclear Deal.

US President Donald Trump walking away from the Iran nuclear deal also breaks ties with allies in Europe and leaves the future of the agreement in doubt.

Why did Trump pull out of the deal? He described the deal as “horrible” and “one-sided,” maintaining that, even with the current restrictions in place, Iran continues to pose a threat to the US.

My thought on this is that Trump is right. Iran does pose a threat to the U.S., but that threat is not immanent as it is for Israel who is taking the heat for Trump’s mistakes since he took office. The war between Iran and Israel was coming anyway, but Trump‘s move just sped up the conflict.

What Trump doesn’t see is the threat from Russia. Iran doesn’t have the military prowess to take on the United States, but Russia does, and Russia will do that at YHVH’s appointed future time. Now back to the article.

Trump also plans to initiate new sanctions on the regime.

How has Iran reacted? Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said Iran will take a few weeks to decide how to respond to the US withdrawal.

Let’s stop here for a moment. Iran is acting like it is the cat and the U.S. is the mouse that is now cornered. Indeed, this is the situation. The mouse just doesn’t see the danger it is in. The U.S. is going about its usual destructive business of using Israel to do its own and Saudi Arabia’s dirty work. From now on, we will see this conflict take on a life of its own that is no longer controllable by the U.S. or Saudi Arabia. The destruction will have unintended consequences for the West because Saudi Arabia and the U.S. will experience the defeat of all their Middle East allies in the southern region.

Turkey, to the north, and those Islamic nations to the east – Bahrain, UAE, Oman, Kuwait and so forth – will only be affected after Iran has conquered the southern region. Like the U.S. mouse, Turkey, the remnant of the former Islamic Ottoman empire will begin to squeak, along with those eastern-lying Islamic nations, and Iran will put a stop to that, as well. But then, Iran won’t stop at the Middle East. Global war will break out.

Back to the article.

What about the other countries involved? The UK, France and Germany, issued a statement expressing “regret and concern” about the decision, emphasizing Iran’s compliance with the deal and their “continuing commitment” to the deal.

Russia simply said the move was “new confirmation of Washington’s incompetence,” and underscored that the US, not Iran, is now technically in violation of the deal.

Bingo!

Saudi Arabia, another longstanding regional objector to the deal, issued a statement Tuesday in support of Trump’s withdrawal from the agreement and the reinstatement of economic sanctions. Saudi Arabia has previously warned it will pursue nuclear weapons if Iran does the same.

The U.S. is Saudi Arabia’s biggest ally. Trump’s move this week will be blamed on Israel – as Iran is already doing. But the real culprit is Saudi Arabia! Israel has been funded, armed and used by the U.S. for decades to do its bidding in the Middle East. What is happening now is not at the behest of the U.S., necessarily (although that is part of this conflict). The real thrust behind Israel’s impetus against Iran comes from Saudi Arabia.

Iran knows this and will view all of the diplomatic and military conflict with Israel in the same way. Iran understands who is behind the provocation and the reason for the provocation which is to secure the rising Caliphate under Saudi rule. See last week’s Jerusalem Report, where I found a Sputnik news headline reiterating what I have been saying for months: “‘Saudi Arabia ‘May Hope Israel Will Do the Job for Them and Fight Iran”.

This really is not Israel’s war. It is Saudi Arabia’s war with the U.S. backing it. But Israel has slowly, over the last 8 years, been drawn into the conflict. Back to the article.

What happens next? Experts believe that, should Iran choose to resume the enrichment of uranium, it could build a bomb within about a year. The sanctions, meanwhile, could take months to go into effect as the US government develops guidance for companies and banks.

According to a fact sheet issued by the White House, “those doing business in Iran will be provided a period of time to allow them to wind down operations,” and those that don’t “risk severe consequences.”

Let me add in here that the U.S. might overplaying their powers over others just a bit.

Western airlines, carmakers, hotel groups and oil companies all jumped to sign deals in Iran. The country’s oil sector boomed and the economy grew. Such enterprises could now turn into huge losses — and this could hit consumers in the West.

Iran is the world’s fifth-biggest oil producer. After sanctions were lifted in 2016, the country ramped up its oil production by one million barrels per day. At least some of that oil will now be pulled from the market — at a time when oil prices are already rising. This could push up prices at the pump.

Remember what I said a few weeks ago. If Iran is able to control the Middle East’s oil and Russia controls Crimea’s and Ukraine’s oil, the West will be in serious trouble even though they are now producing oil. How long do you think the U.S. oil operations will continue once the United States is bombed by Russia?

Could a new deal be secured? Trump said Tuesday he was open to finding diplomatic means to address his concerns about the missile program and Tehran’s support for militant groups, leading to the possibility of further negotiations between US allies on a side agreement. But even if a deal is struck, it’s not clear how they would convince Iran to sign on, or whether Russia and China — two other partners to the deal — would agree.

Doubtless they will not agree. Iran has already said they will not come back to the table again. Tehran is primed for war. With Israel pumping missiles into Iran’s Syria operations, war can’t be far off.

ONE SITUATION LEADS TO THE ESCALATION OF ANOTHER

On the heels of Trump’s decision on the Iran Nuclear Deal, comes this: Israel bombed Iranian positions in Syria two days in a row this week.

Syria said Tuesday that Israel carried out an attack on a military base south of Damascus, which was used by Iranian forces. A pro-Assad commander said Israeli fighter jets struck a Syria army position south of Damascus where Iranian missiles were aimed at Israel.

The Israeli military, earlier this week, had said it identified what it said was unusual movements of Iranian forces in Syria, and it believed those forces were preparing for an imminent retaliation against Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) deployed its defence systems and have been “on high alert for an attack” which did come.

Furthermore, a prominent Iranian-Israeli journalist says Israeli intelligence sources have reported unusual activities by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps forces in Lebanon. The Israeli military ordered communities in the Golan Heights to open public shelters. Intelligence officers and other specialized forces have been called up, though reserve combat units have not been drafted. Arrow, Patriot and Iron Dome anti-missile systems were deployed on the Golan.

Contrary to Israel’s claim of increased Iranian activity in Syria and Lebanon, the US-led coalition fighting ISIS inside Syria said Tuesday that they had seen “no change” in the behavior of Iranian backed forces inside Syria in recent days, but issued an alert warning for all U.S. government employees to not travel to the Golan Heights without advance approval.

Well, the U.S. should now be satisfied that Israel’s intelligence was correct and we have seen on Thursday when the attack would come and the form it took. More in a minute.

Now, let’s put a little U.S. spin. With an all “innocent” face, US officials said they could not draw a direct correlation between President Donald Trump’s withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear agreement and any attack against Israel. Instead, they assessed that the growing rhetoric from both Iranian and Israeli leaders was to blame.

That’s right. Trump’s administration will take no responsibility for the escalation between Iran and Israel even though Iran had already warned the US that withdrawing from the deal would be a “historic mistake.”

The world saw the beginning of Iran’s retaliation on Thursday morning. In the early hours, the IDF said its military was “moving” against Iranian targets in Syria and warned Damascus not to intervene. Why? Israel’s military positions in Golan were fired at with a barrage of 20 Iranian rockets.

Several, but not all of the Iranian rockets were intercepted by Israeli defences. Israel said 20 Iranian Grad and Fajr rockets were shot down by its Iron Dome air defence system or fell short of the Golan targets.

This will mark the first time Iran has fired rockets in a direct strike on Israeli forces.

Damascus was shaken with explosions as Israeli jets flew overheard before dawn. The Israeli newspaper Haaretz quoted an unidentified security official as saying Israel’s attacks inside Syria were the most extensive since the two nations signed a disengagement agreement after the October war of 1973.

Keep in mind that the current escalating conflict between Iran and Israel does not yet constitute the prophesied invasion by the King of the North. That invasion will involve Israel, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Libya and Ethiopia, not Israel alone.

In the meantime, it appears that Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un are progressing in nuclear talks. In fact, talks are going so well that North Korea has freed three US citizens from prison, according to a tweet from US President Donald Trump.

The pundits are debating the effect of Trump pulling out of the Iran deal on the North Korea nuclear talks. Some see it as favorable to the talks, showing Kim that the U.S. is not to be messed with. The reverse view is that the U.S. appears to be a treaty partner that cannot be trusted.

As for me? Well, I smell a rat in this wood pile and it’s been dead for a little while now. There is some sort of back door connection to the Iran Nuclear Deal being canceled and Trump’s newfound deal with North Korea, even if it is nothing more than revenge and triumph.

What do I mean? Trump may be taking revenge on Obama, and to show his own prowess and bolster his own ego, that believes himself to be such a deal maker, he has shown his skill by using North Korea.

That wraps up the Israel-Iran war and the Iran Nuclear Deal. Now let’s take a look at another conflict that has been brewing for many years and that surfaces every now again in the Hebrew Roots movement and even among the Jews.

INTERNAL CONFLICT

Inside Hebrew Roots, Messianic Judaism and Judaism is a false doctrine that says YHVH’s people can do the Feasts anywhere on earth that they want to. This doctrine’s needed destruction is becoming urgent. You’ll see why a little bit.

Given that the Great Tribulation may be only a few years away, at best, or perhaps even immanent, having this doctrine still with us is dangerous. Why? It is because some of the LORD’s promises of protection and deliverance are tied to us attending the Feasts in Jerusalem. I’ll give you those scriptures in a little bit. Just know that WHERE we do the Feasts is paramount in YHVH’s commandments.

Aside from the Great Tribulation, we are also on the cusp of the ingathering, which is a Great Tribulation event. But, actually, the ingathering is already in process. The numbers of Feast attendees go up every Feast. Not every year, but at every Feast. And YHVH is moving more of His people to Israel and Greater Israel. He is already gathering those who are listening!

To understand the false doctrine, and how we can undo it in our lives, we must first know how we got here and why it is so important. It is too easy to convince ourselves that YHVH is happy to have our praise anywhere we are on the earth at any time. But this is not the case. This is especially so if you have any inkling of what goes on in Jerusalem and in the Temple. There is only one authorized location for His celebrations. That place is Jerusalem, the place of YHVH’s name.

The history of this false doctrine begins with the Israelite tax revolt in 1 Kings 12. It wasn’t the tax revolt that Jeroboam led against Rehoboam that got the House of Israel into trouble. It was what Jeroboam did after that rebellion when he had been installed as King of the House of Israel.

1 Kings 12:26 And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David:

1 Kings 12:27 If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah.

1 Kings 12:28 Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

1 Kings 12:29 And he set the one in Bethel, and the other put he in Dan.

1 Kings 12:30 And this thing became a sin: for the people went to worship before the one, even unto Dan.

1 Kings 12:31 And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi.

1 Kings 12:32 And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.

1 Kings 12:33 So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.

Do you realize what Jeroboam REALLY accomplished here? He became the type and shadow of the Antichrist. He defiled the Altar by keeping YHVH’s people away from it and Jerusalem, changed the Feast times and seasons and their locations. In fact, the Feasts is what Jeroboam’s altars were all about! He set up golden calves in Bethel and Dan, putting YHVH’s name on them, and even created his own priesthood in which he was a King-Priest serving at his own altar.

Leviticus 17:3 What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,

Leviticus 17:4 And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:

Leviticus 17:5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.

Leviticus 17:6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.

Leviticus 17:7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.

Thus, Jeroboam made YHVH’s Feasts to be at different times and in different locations and handed them over to devils by sacrificing outside of Jerusalem!

If we remember nothing else, remember that we can never take our sacrifices anywhere but to YHVH’s specified place which is now and forever more, Jerusalem.

The false doctrine about the Feasts being done anywhere we want to because we are in exile comes from a misunderstanding of the Feast instructions, which come in 2 parts: 1) Go to the place of YHVH’s name and 2) your men are to appear before the LORD to present their tithes, offerings and sacrifices.

It is wrongly taught that only the men need to go to Jerusalem, but a careful reading of the scriptures in context will tell you that the entire family is to go, including widows, orphans and the Levites who live in your cities. Once the whole family is in Jerusalem, THEN the men present themselves with the family’s tithes, offerings and sacrifices.

Jeroboam’s apostacy is compounded now because there is no Temple, and we can’t sacrifice right now, so, therefore, people assume there is no need to go to Jerusalem because they wrongly assume that doing the Feasts is only about doing sacrifices.

I don’t have enough time to read all the scriptures in the Torah and Tanach that tell us where we are to go for the Feasts. But know this: The instructions are for us to go to the place He shall choose, the place of His name. Never did YHVH tell us to do the Feasts at the Tabernacle or the Temple. He told us to do them at the place of His name and bring our sacrifices.

Why is this distinction so important? I will answer that question with a question. What if YHVH had put His name on the Temple, a place that can be easily destroyed? Any place with YHVH’s name on it, that would be destroyed, would destroy His name from the earth!

Jerusalem was never completely destroyed. Even after its prophesied destructions, it continued to be occupied by someone. Jerusalem is one of the oldest continuously occupied cities on earth. Thus, YHVH putting His name on Jerusalem ensured that His name would never be destroyed from the earth and that He would have a capital that could be restored in the end of days.

This is why we don’t need a Temple to go ahead and do YHVH’s instructions to attend the Feasts in Jerusalem even though we cannot bring sacrifices right now. We can, however, do everything else.

What did YHVH say about us in the end of days?

Deuteronomy 30:1  And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call them to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

Deuteronomy 30:2  And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

Deuteronomy 30:3  That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

In the end of days, YHVH is not looking for us to be able to do everything he commanded, but for us to do everything we can to obey Him – the “with all your heart” part. This is a precondition for our return from exile.

So, we don’t need the Temple in order to appear in Jerusalem, but we do need to appear in Jerusalem, even without the Temple because there are still instructions of the Feasts that we CAN do. We can present ourselves before YHVH. He said His eyes and Heart are there forever (1Ki 9:3, 2Ch 7:16). When there is a Temple there, it is still His eyes and heart that knew you are there. So, nothing has changed in this regard.

One of the most destructive teachings is that Deuteronomy 12:21 says you can do the Feasts wherever you are in exile. This is the atrocious teaching I repented of 2 years ago because that is not what it says.

Deuteronomy chapter 12 deals with what to do if you can’t get your animals, tithes and offerings to Jerusalem because the LORD has blessed you so much! Deuteronomy chapter 12 says nothing about what to do if you can’t go! You not going is not an option. Verse 21 explains what you do with your animal that you have decided can’t be taken to Jerusalem with you. You re-purpose it as simply ‘meat’.

You slaughter it. It’s not a sacrifice because no blood is going on the Altar. It’s going into the ground. It’s not a sacrifice because both clean and unclean people can eat it. Unclean people are not permitted to eat the sacrifices.

In chapter 14, we learn what you do when you have to go to Jerusalem without your animals and your tithes.

Deuteronomy 14:22 Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

Deuteronomy 14:23 And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

Deuteronomy 14:24 And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; or if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:

Deuteronomy 14:25 Then shalt thou turn it into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:

Deuteronomy 14:26 And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

Deuteronomy 14:27 And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.

Oh! You turn your sacrificial firstborn lamb (that is required to be offered to YHVH), along with your tithes into cash. How do you do that? You sell them! Then, you take that money to Jerusalem with you and buy a proper firstborn lamb from the Temple flock to replace the one you ate for dinner the night before you traveled to Jerusalem!

For a further list of excuses people use for not going to Jerusalem for the feasts, CLICK HERE.

Some people have valid reasons for not going and I will tell what those are and what to do in a minute.

Jerusalem being too far away was Jeroboam’s original excuse. This excuse that Jeroboam used to keep his people away from Jerusalem for everything we were supposed to go to Jerusalem for has been the basis for the ongoing rejection of going to Jerusalem for the Feasts for over 2700 years. The rejection of Jerusalem was the beginning of the House of Israel ending up in exile. Thus, to reverse and defy this rejection is to reverse our exile.

Jeroboam’s apostacy will be destroyed in the same way it began: By the people defying his doctrine and reversing the decisions of their leaders rather than agreeing with them. Today, religious leaders in Hebrew Roots, Messianic Judaism and in Judaism say with their mouths that Jerusalem is the place for the Feasts, but they fail to do the action of going there themselves.

Isaiah 29:13 Wherefore the Lord said, Forasmuch as this people draw near me with their mouth, and with their lips do honour me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men:

Saying but not doing is tantamount to our leaders agreeing with Jeroboam. So, they speak with their lips, then do home Passover seders, Shavuot and Sukkots in all kinds of places all over the earth rather than return to Jerusalem!

You need to know that there are special blessings, special help and deliverance promises for those who go to the Feasts in Jerusalem. The first promise I mention will be about your property.
Exo 34:24 For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.
How much clearer can it be? Our protection from the coming destruction is associated with keeping the LORD’s Feasts 3 times a year at the place where He put His name.

Another promise from YHVH is that attending the Feasts in Jerusalem has benefit for our children. How often have I heard parents crying over their children who are not in relation with the Father and they are wondering about their children entering the Kingdom. Well, read Hezekiah’s letter in 2 Chronicles 30. Read the whole chapter but allow me to paraphrase what you will find there.

Hezekiah sent word to the House of Israel in the north, the tribes of Ephraim and Manasseh, to come to Passover in Jerusalem. The letter specifically said, “Don’t be like your ancestors and your relatives, who weren’t faithful to the LORD God of their ancestors, who, as a result, made them a desolate horror, as you well know. So don’t be stiff-necked like your ancestors were. Instead, submit to the LORD, enter his sanctuary that he has sanctified forever, and serve the LORD your God so that he’ll stop being angry with you. If you return to the LORD, your relatives and children will receive compassion from those who took them away captive, and they’ll return to this land, because the LORD is both gracious and compassionate—he will not turn away from you if you return to him.”

That last part is what I wanted you to understand. The price of releasing your children’s captivity is for you to go to Jerusalem for the Feasts.

Let’s address some valid reasons why you might not be able to go and what to do about it. But first, let’s learn about YHVH’s principle of attribution. He attributes righteousness, holiness, and all kinds of participation in His Kingdom when we have done very little. We see this principle first with Abraham who obeyed God and it was attributed to him for righteousness. From this, we learn that righteousness is attributed, not earned, for obedience. We have to be righteous to enter the Kingdom, but we have to be obedient to have Him attribute righteousness to us.

In the wilderness, a few people worked on the Tabernacle, but certainly not all 3 million people were part of its construction. A large number of people contributed to its construction with materials, but not everyone contributed. Only those who were moved to contribute contributed. Yet, the construction of the Tabernacle is attributed by YHVH to the entire congregation.

King David, who later gathered building materials for the Temple, is attributed with having built the Temple, even though he did not build it.

The Jews have an understanding that says when a person repents it is “as if” he built the Temple.

So you see, YHVH attributes much to His people for little of their effort. This is important because, using the principle that during the Millennium the families of the earth will send representatives to Jerusalem for Sukkot (instead of their entire families traveling to Jerusalem), we see that YHVH will attribute to the gentiles “as if” their whole family came when they send a representative.

This is a principle we can use, too. YHVH knows we are in exile. He knows many of us are poor. He knows we have financial problems, health issues, job and family problems to deal with. So, what are we to do if we truly can’t go, as in there truly is a valid reason for not showing up?

Take your 2nd tithe – yes, you should be tithing this way – and give it to someone in your family or congregation who can go in your place. The instruction for this is found in Deuteronomy 14:29 where we are instructed to make sure that certain people get to Jerusalem. These are orphans and widows and Levites. Guess what? Being in exile makes you an orphan or a widow.

So, in your congregations, select someone to go for each Feast. Set up a fund to send your representative because YHVH will attribute to everyone who contributes “as if” he was in Jerusalem!

Mourn.

Zephaniah 3:18 I will gather them that are sorrowful for the solemn assembly [moedim], who are of thee, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.

Even the Jews mourn in Jerusalem during the Feasts for the loss of YHVH’s full complement of Temple rituals. They mourn that they can’t keep all of the sacrifices at the Feasts. They mourn because all their brethren from the other tribes are not there. In exile, we should be mourning all the more! We should be sitting in sackcloth and ashes because we are not able to get to Jerusalem.

There is a hard truth to face that our people seem unwilling to look at. They spend thousands of dollars going to Feasts outside of Jerusalem. That money should be spent getting to Jerusalem or helping to send others.

Remember, exile is YHVH’s punishment of His people! It is to teach you to WANT what YHVH wants. He wants you in Jerusalem. But, sadly, most of YHVH’s people want their Passovers to continue in their homes from year to year and their Sukkots to be wherever they decide is a good vacation spot!

Stop it! Destruction is coming! You listen to this report because you know the destruction is coming. Well, I have to tell you the truth about this destruction and part of it is that you attending the Feasts WHERE YHVH told you to is a chunk of the possibility of your survival through the Great Tribulation!

Contrary to what is being said of me on Facebook at the moment, it is not my belief that you go to hell for not attending the Feasts in Jerusalem. This is not a salvation issue. However, it IS an obedience issue. In fact, this is one of the last, and perhaps the biggest issue, to face the two Houses before the Great Tribulation starts. What we do about Jerusalem will directly affect whether or not we escape destruction.

We need our teachers to teach by example rather than just give lip service to Jerusalem. They “say” go to Jerusalem, but where do they keep the Feasts? Anywhere! Often these leaders set up their own camps and get people to come there instead of to Jerusalem. They don’t “teach” DOING the action of going.

They teach the Sabbath by doing it, not just talking about it. They teach kosher, by doing it, not just talking about it. They teach these instructions with their words, but the important part of teaching is to DO! Doing the Feasts in Jerusalem is just not happening with many of Hebrew Roots teachers.

These same teachers, though, still condemn Jeroboam and the altars he built – the altars around which the northern tribes performed their Feasts in the times and locations that were changed by Jeroboam. If it’s Ok for us to do the Feasts just anywhere, why do our teachers condemn Jeroboam, then continue doing what Jeroboam did?

You and I are teachers. Did you know that? We are all teachers and lights to the world, but if we prefer our darkness, our exile, our diaspora over Jerusalem, what does that say to the world?
I wonder what would happen if all the leaders and teachers would actually just go to Jerusalem for a Feast – all showing up at the same time – leaving behind those who either can’t or won’t go. THAT would be the best teacher of all! New Roots believers just coming out of the church would quickly get the lesson that we go to Jerusalem for the Feasts and we mourn when we can’t. Contrary to popular opinion, apostate Sukkot camps are not the best place for people to learn to go to Jerusalem for the Feasts or to learn about the Feasts at all! All that teaches them is to go any place you want to go! We can do teachings and midrashes about the Feasts anytime. We don’t have to do them in locations that will end up getting us, and our new Roots converts, killed!

When Hezekiah sent out his letter, Ephraim, Manasseh and Zebulun mocked King Hezekiah’s couriers. Those who say we don’t have to go to Jerusalem for the Feasts – that we can do them anywhere – are mocking!

The people from the northern tribes who went to Jerusalem for the Feast effectively reversed the curse of Jeroboam in their lives. What those people did is what we must do now. We must defy Jeroboam because this will reverse the scattering. Let me give you an example of what I’m saying.

Imagine that a glass bowl was dropped and shattered on the floor. Now, imagine that it was filmed and think about what the bowl coming back together on the film will look like. It will be an exact reversal.

A person would normally pick up the pieces. But this puts them in different order. This is not restoration. The little splinters would be swept up and lost. But YHVH’s plan is the EXACT reversal of the dispersion. Not even the splinters will be lost.

Another note is that since we WILL be going to His Feasts in Jerusalem in the millennium or be punished, we should be doing them in Jerusalem now. Going to the Feasts in Jerusalem is our role in exactly reversing the sin of Jeroboam.

This actually is KEY to the continuing ingathering because at the Feasts in Jerusalem is the only place where ALL of YHVH’s people gather together in what we might call a big family reunion. Not only do YHVH’s eyes see us there and His heart feel us there, but all of other brethren meet us there! Voila! Reunification! In fact, Jerusalem is YHVH’s regathering place, is it not? We won’t be regathered to Bethel or Dan, will we? Isn’t it that Jeroboam’s desire was to keep people from reunifying in Jerusalem?

How is this false doctrine connected to what is happening between Israel and Iran? it is because of the sudden destruction that is coming. Through this message, YHVH is giving His people another chance to do His will. The last stronghold of the Hebrew Roots movement is the Feasts in Jerusalem.

Will the current upheaval between the King of the North and Israel turn into that prophesied war or will it continue to be a series of skirmishes for some months or years yet?

I don’t know, but I am hoping YHVH will give His people who want to escape their destruction time to go on record as having done everything possible to show up in Jerusalem for at least one Feast! It would be even better if they would work toward being there for every Feast from now on.

YHVH sent Jonah to the House of Israel who were present in Assyria before His final destruction, the final captivity by Sennacharib. Jonah was not sent to a bunch of gentiles. No, he was sent to the House of Israel who had been divorced and by reason of that divorce had become the same as gentiles and were, thus, called gentiles. The captivity of the House of Israel did not happen in one swoop of Assyria into Israel. It happened over time. Yet, YHVH sent a warning messenger to His people in Assyria for them to repent and return to Him.

But did YHVH just want people to return to Israel? Or did He want them to repent and defy Jeroboam’s rebellion and return to Jerusalem? Of course, the answer is Jerusalem.

YHVH is once again calling His people who see the destruction coming. They are in exile. He has sent a prophet to call them back, not to Israel, but to Jerusalem. Let me tell you now that if you reject Jerusalem, you won’t be allowed in Israel. Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, both of the U.N.-created Israel and the Kingdom of Israel, the center and capital of the earth and it is the center and capital of the universe. Going to Jerusalem for the Feasts should be seen as an honor and privilege, not something to be debated about whether it is necessary to attend a Feast when the King decides a Feast is to be thrown!

Remember this truism… When our starting premise is incorrect, our conclusion also will be incorrect. What the Sabbath was to our Christian belief, the Feasts are to our Hebraic beliefs. What is our starting premise? That we don’t have to go to Jerusalem for the Feasts – that we can do them anywhere. That premise is leading the majority of people to a false conclusion and a terrible outcome!

See you in Jerusalem!
