Saudi Arabia took the extraordinary measure of temporarily halting oil shipments via the Bab el-Mandeb Strait, a key shipping lane for crude at the southern tip of the Red Sea, after it said two tankers were attacked by Yemen’s Houthi militia.
I have reported that when Iran is ready to attack Israel and Jordan, the Houthis in Yemen will become active. Syria has violated Israeli airspace and some of their missiles have fallen into the Galilee this week. Do you think this uptick in activity on Israel’s northern border and Saudi Arabia’s southern border is coincidental?
