After an intensive study into the practical details, an actual heifer, albeit not a red one, was burned in precisely the manner that will enable the Jewish people to be purified.
This heifer was a “a mature sick heifer” burned for discovering how much ash would be produced to purify the Jews for their Jewish temple. The result was enough ash to purify billions of people, but not all the people will be included the purification – only the Jews. Noahides will not be purified and not allowed to enter the Temple. In fact, it is possible Noahides will not be allowed in Jerusalem at all.
This is not yet the sign of the Great Tribulation. The desolation of the altar is the sign. There is no altar yet and no red heifer ashes, either. Keep watching.
